Who We Are

For decades, White Bird Rock Medicine functioned as a fundraising arm of White Bird Clinic, a large human service agency serving their community in Eugene, Oregon. Our humanistic intervention model of medical response, crisis support, and psychedelic harm reduction was developed over the years by our dedicated staff and volunteers serving over 60,000 people a year at events and festivals across Oregon. Building on this foundation, White Bird Rock Medicine became its own non-profit in 2024 to expand its services and philanthropic work to support more of our local community.
Our model of support and crisis intervention is built on the foundations of humanistic and person-centered care and designed to meet each individual where they are at. WBRM’s approaches are trauma informed and designed to resolve situations with the least amount of intervention necessary to ensure the health and safety of all involved. We incorporate a psychedelic harm reduction model based on practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use. And the guiding ethos for our work is built around social justice principles and prioritization of basic human rights and dignity for all those we serve.
